  Steve Motsinger is the Proud Owner of EGM. He started his first job as a dishwasher at the local Dinner Bell restaurant, here in Salem. 

  From the age of 16, he had always told himself that one day he would own his own dealership. At about 12 years old he began detailing cars with his uncle before quickly advancing to become the detail and body shop manager. He then took a salesperson position at a Mercury dealer in Seymour, Indiana before taking on a Sales position here, at Eddie Gilstrap Motors in 1976. 

  In 1979, at the young age of 26, he was offered the opportunity to purchase the store from the Brewers, who were looking to retire. 

  
  

  When asked what drives Steve, he stated, "People". He attributes his success on his employees. He values owning a no pressure & honest business. 

  
  

  "My employees come first, and the customers come second. Because, if you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers." - Steve Motsinger

  
  

  In his spare time, Steve enjoys golfing, and yard work. He has a wife, Tammy, and 5 children.
